I have never been able to replicate the tone on this recording again. The gig was at a medium size festival in Denmark. We were all a bit "seedy" from the night before after playing the Midtfyns Festival. We only had a very short time to get it together on-stage before we were announced. In the process of "getting it together" I dropped my wah-wah pedal off the back of the stage. I didn't have time to check it so as I quickly tarzan-ed it (a word meaning extreme haste) and plugged it in as normal. The wah-wah didn't work - but where the hell did that tone come from??? It was just exploding off my fingers!! I thought there goes the wah, but I've gained this incredible TONE. After an excellent gig (digging that tone) I tried to work out why the hell it sounded like that, but I was tired and thought "later". The next night I plugged the "new" wah in ready to start bouncin' again - this time the wah worked and that tone was gone...buggered if I know...but at least it was recorded from the desk by a very dilligent sound engineer!
